We know Witham
Located in the county of Essex, Witham is a town with a population of around 25,000 and is situated between Chelmsford and Colchester. The town has many primary schools and two secondary schools. It has two shopping precincts as well as restaurants, pubs, supermarkets and various commercial chains and facilities along with local businesses.
Witham has enviable transport links. Trains run from the station into London Liverpool Street every 15 minutes and take 45 minutes. The A12 – the Roman road from London to Colchester – runs past the town, linking Witham with London and the M25. Stansted Airport is only 30 minutes away. The towns of Braintree, Chelmsford and Colchester are all within easy reach, yet Witham retains a close-knit community feel.
Witham’s fantastic rail and road connections, and its less developed character, is making it increasingly popular with buyers, including investors. While it still offers good value properties, prices are hotting up. Two of the newest developments include Rivenhall Park and Maltings Park, both of which offer a range of property sizes.
