Looking to rent or let property in Chelmsford?
The team at haart letting agents is here to help

haart Lettings Chelmsford is part of the UK’s largest independent estate and lettings agents. Every year we help thousands of people to achieve their aims, whether they’re letting out a property, or keen to rent one.

Chelmsford is the county town of Essex and was made a city by the Queen in the 2012 Diamond Jubilee celebrations. It’s a fast-changing place, with plenty going on and many new commercial and residential developments taking shape.

There’s great shopping here too, with a new John Lewis, two shopping centres, a bustling high street and a regular market. There are bars, clubs, cinemas and restaurants as well as a theatre, plenty of green spaces and fun annual festivals.

The schools are very good in the city and surrounding area too, which makes this area popular with families who are looking to rent. Whether you’re an investor looking to let your property, or you’re keen to rent a home in Chelmsford, the haart Lettings team is here to help.

We know Chelmsford

The city of Chelmsford houses the main offices of Essex County Council. It is on the rail line to London and Norwich and has a great community feel.

With a population of over 170,000, it has much to offer – a great shopping district, the site of a new John Lewis store and high performing schools including the Chelmsford County High School for Girls and the King Edward VI Grammar School.

Plus there are also plenty of open parks and a great social scene for both young and old.

From Chelmsford it’s only a 32 minute journey into London, and there are also services to Ipswich, Clacton and Norwich. The A12 between London and Colchester passes Chelmsford and links the city to the main centres in East Anglia. Looking to get away? Stansted and Southend airports are both easy to get to.
