Far more than your average three-bed semi. Offering over 1,400 sqft, three reception areas, an incredible principal bedroom, flexible business space and a private garden, this spacious family home combines versatility, location and lifestyle in equal mea

3-bed Semi-detached

Some houses fit neatly into a box.

This one clearly missed the memo.

From the outside it may look like a traditional three-bedroom semi, but step inside and you'll quickly realise this home has been quietly collecting extra space over the years and putting it to very good use.

With over 1,400 square feet of accommodation, three reception areas and rooms that genuinely give you options rather than compromises, this is a house that adapts to family life rather than expecting family life to adapt to it.

The main living room is exactly what you hope for in a family home — spacious, welcoming and with plenty of room for everyone to spread out without fighting over the best seat.

Alongside this sits further reception space which can become whatever your life currently needs it to be. Formal dining room? Playroom? Home office? Teenage retreat? Somewhere to hide from the children for ten minutes with a coffee? The choice is yours.

The kitchen offers plenty of workspace and storage and sits at the heart of the home, making it ideal for busy family life and those occasions where everyone somehow ends up standing in the kitchen despite there being plenty of other rooms available.

Upstairs is where this property really starts showing off a little.

The principal bedroom stretches to almost seven metres in length and feels more like something you'd expect to find in a much larger home. In fact, subject to the relevant permissions and requirements, there is potential for this room to be divided into two bedrooms and even accommodate an additional bathroom if ever required.

For growing families, that sort of flexibility is worth its weight in gold.

Outside continues the theme with a private rear garden offering a lovely place to enjoy the sunshine, entertain friends or simply escape with a book for half an hour while pretending not to hear the washing machine beeping indoors.

One of the property's most interesting features is the additional reception space currently used as a cake business by the current owner. However, the possibilities extend far beyond baking.

Home office.
Beauty room.
Dog grooming business.
Treatment room.
Games room.
Annex style accommodation.

Or simply somewhere to keep work separate from home life.

In a world where more people are blending home and work than ever before, this sort of flexibility is becoming increasingly valuable.

Location wise, Scotney Drive has quietly become one of those places where people move in and then seem reluctant to leave.

Tucked away in a peaceful cul-de-sac, you've got the best of both worlds here — a quieter setting for family life without feeling disconnected from everything you need day to day.

Families will appreciate the nearby schools and the bus stop conveniently located at the end of the road, while commuters can be on the A1 in minutes or at Grantham station ready for the fast train to London in just over an hour.

For dog owners, one of the real hidden gems is the easy access to the nearby Hills and Hollows, offering fantastic walks quite literally on your doorstep and enough routes to keep both owners and four-legged friends happy for years.

The town centre, local hospital and supermarkets are all within easy reach too, making day-to-day life refreshingly straightforward.

The railway station is only a short drive away for commuters heading towards London, Nottingham or Peterborough.

The current owners have created a home that feels spacious, practical and incredibly versatile.

And whilst it may officially be a three-bedroom semi-detached house...
It certainly doesn't live like one.
