Charming Village Location

Set in the charming semi-rural village of Cowden, this attractive Edwardian mid-terrace home offers a rare opportunity to secure a character-filled property just moments from Cowden station, with direct services to London in under an hour.

Offered chain free with vacant possession, the home boasts a deceptively spacious three-storey layout, rich with original features including central fireplaces in both the sitting and dining rooms. The ground floor flows from an entrance lobby into a front-facing sitting room, leading through to a separate dining room and a rear kitchen overlooking the garden.
Upstairs, the first floor hosts a generous principal bedroom with countryside views, a third bedroom, and a family bathroom. A further staircase leads to the top floor where a second double bedroom enjoys elevated rural views and excellent eaves storage.

Externally, the property truly shines. A secluded, westerly-facing rear garden offers a peaceful retreat, complete with patio, raised lawn, mature planting, and a garden shed. In addition, a substantial adjoining garden area—accessed via a five-bar gate—provides further lawned space, lovingly maintained over the years and perfect for outdoor living, entertaining, or future landscaping potential.
With scope for cosmetic updating, this home presents an exciting chance to blend period charm with modern living in a highly desirable countryside setting.

Opportunities like this are rarely available. Early internal viewing is strongly recommended to fully appreciate the location, space, and potential this delightful home has to offer.

About Biggin Hill

Biggin Hill, former home to the RAF, has a population of around 6,000 and is part of the London Borough of Bromley.

The area boasts two primary schools and a secondary school, and there are many others in neighbouring districts. Rail transport to central London is accessible via good bus services to Hayes or Bromley.

In the Second World War, Biggin Hill airfield became a Spitfire station and offensive missions flew from here. Today it is the most popular light aviation airfield in southern England and hosts an annual air show. Other places of interest in the area include Down House, the home of Charles Darwin, and the place where he wrote his world-changing book ‘On the origin of species’, and Churchill’s country home, Chartwell.
