We Know Southville

Bedminster, in the south of Bristol, is considered up-and-coming; it has a population of over 12,000 and is popular with families and young professionals.

It is just a 25-minute walk from the centre of Bristol and boasts some great coffee shops and pubs and it is close to the well-known Tobacco Factory entertainment centre.

This community, home to the world’s largest hot-air balloon manufacturer Cameron Balloons, has many small and interesting shops and offers easy access to Windmill Hill railway station.

While most places are walkable, there is a cycle path between Bedminster and the city centre. There are several bus services and two train stations serving the area on the Bristol to Exeter railway line. Bristol Temple Meads is close by, with train services to London, Cardiff, Leeds, Edinburgh and many more destinations.

Southville has a combination of handy supermarkets and high street brands plus more interesting independent shops. There’s also a weekly farmers’ market. The city centre is only a walk or a bus ride away, where you’ll find the Bristol Shopping Quarter – covered shopping centres and pedestrianised streets.
