Southgate is primarily located within the London Borough of Enfield and benefits from three tube stations, its main one being its art deco Grade II listed Southgate tube station which is on the Piccadilly Line.

The area boasts several large green parks including Oakwood Park and Grovelands Park which covers ninety-two acres and features a former boating lake.

Southgate has a population of 14,454 and is a popular area with young families, with plenty of attractive 1930s semi-detached houses and a number of local pubs.

Southgate is a popular area for families, thanks to its high quality schools. The high street has some good shops, cafes and restaurants, and there are some lovely pubs to try.
