Famous for its film studios, the town of Shepperton is part of the Borough of Spelthorne in Surrey.
The area is popular with city commuters thanks to its continued expansion and new housing developments since the 1930s, close proximity to the M3 and rail links into London Waterloo.
The train station has direct links to Waterloo, and there are bus services to Staines, Sunbury and Heathrow Airport. The M3 runs close by, and the M25 is only a couple of miles away.
Although much of Shepperton is urbanised, there are plenty of open park spaces including a recreational ground and woodland plus the Chertsey Meads flood meadows and Dumsey Meadow nature reserve are close by – perfect for a stroll.
