Just off the A12 and only a 1 hour train journey to London makes it popular with commuters, who can also enjoy the nearby Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty such as Dedham Vale.

The redeveloped Ipswich waterfront is picturesque and historic. Quayside apartments have views across the marina and are within close reach of the River Orwell.
