We know Ilkeston

Ilkeston is part of the borough of Derbyshire and is within close proximity to Derby and Nottingham. 

Ilkeston is steeped in heritage with coal mining, ironworks and lace-making popular in the town, which was founded in the 6th Century.  Queen Victoria is also known to have named Ilkeston a Borough in 1887. 

Ilkeston only recently gained a train station in 2017, which connects the town to Nottingham and Derby. You also have access to the M1 network by car for exploring further afield.
