If you are a landlord looking to let your property, or you’re keen to rent a property in the up-and-coming town of Hemel Hempstead, haart Letting Agents are here to help.
haart Lettings Hemel Hempstead is part of the UK’s largest independent estate and lettings agents. Every year we help thousands of people to achieve their aims, whether they’re letting out a property, or keen to rent one.
Hemel Hempstead was developed after the Second World War, but has been a settlement since the eighth century. In recent years, Hemel’s popularity has surged (along with the investment yields) as people head out of London looking for more affordable rentals but great transport links (from here you can be in London Euston in 31 minutes).
Hemel Hempstead is divided into old and new towns. The old town is quaint and villagey, with independent shops and cafes. The new town has a wide choice of supermarkets, shops, cafes and restaurants plus a cinema and bowling complex. Sought-after areas include Leverstock Green, for its village atmosphere and pubs, Boxmoor, for the train station, and Apsley Lock for its views over the Grand Union Canal.
There are well regarded state and private schools in the town, a number of which focus on particular areas of the curriculum. So whether you’re looking to let or rent in Hemel Hempstead, the haart Lettings team is here to help.

Government announces five-week cap on rental deposits- but haart goes one better. The government has recently confirmed that it will cut the maximum deposit for rentals of less than £50,000 to five weeks, down from six weeks. According to the National Landlords Association and the Residential Landlords Association, the reduction could force landlords out of the market. However, haart partnered with flatfair earlier this year to launch a solution which protects both tenants and landlords in equal measure.
