Property Rental and Lettings
haart Lettings Hemel Hempstead is part of the UK’s largest independent estate and lettings agents. Every year we help thousands of people to achieve their aims, whether they’re letting out a property, or keen to rent one.
Hemel Hempstead was developed after the Second World War but has been a settlement since the 8th Century. In recent years, Hemel’s popularity has surged (along with the investment yields) as people head out of London looking for more affordable rentals but great transport links; from here you can be in London Euston in 31 minutes.
There are well-regarded state and private schools in the town, several which focus on particular areas of the curriculum. So, whether you’re looking to let or rent in Hemel Hempstead, the haart Lettings team is here to help.

We know Hemel Hempstead
Hemel Hempstead is divided into old and new towns. The old town is quaint and villagey, with independent shops and cafés. The new town has a wide choice of supermarkets, shops, cafés and restaurants, plus a cinema and bowling complex. Sought-after areas include Leverstock Green, for its village atmosphere and pubs, Boxmoor for the train station, and Apsley Lock for its views over the Grand Union Canal.
If you’re a skier or snowboarder, the town’s Snow Centre has real snow and realistic alpine conditions. There is also plenty to do for kids, why not take them to Gadebridge Park, with its large children’s playground, paddling pool, bowling green and crazy golf?
