We know East Ham
East Ham is a great location for commuters into central London since it is situated in Zones 3 and 4 on the London Tube map and takes just under half an hour to reach the City by the District or Metropolitan lines. There are good road links too, with the A12 and North Circular nearby.
Lying in the London Borough of Newham, East Ham features many restaurants specialising in ethnic cuisine but there are also traditional East End eateries, too, and the area is well served by schools.
Crossrail is coming and will skirt the top and bottom of the area. This will almost halve journey times into Central London, to 18-22 minutes. London City Airport is only 15 minutes away by car.
