Living in Arnold
Arnold is a vibrant town that boasts a variety of shops and restaurants, including large supermarkets alongside smaller independent businesses. Its growth of a village into a town was largely due to the invention locally of the Stocking Frame machine, which was the first automated knitting machine that became the mainstay of the industry in the area during the 19th century.
