Three storey semi-detached

From the moment you walk through the composite front door, you’re welcomed by a bright entrance hallway with useful understairs storage, setting the tone for this well-designed family home.

A convenient downstairs cloakroom sits just off the hallway, perfect for guests and busy family life.

To the front of the property is a cosy reception room, currently used as a snug, making it an ideal space for relaxing with a book, working from home, or creating a dedicated playroom.
The heart of the home is undoubtedly the impressive open-plan kitchen and dining area.

Designed with modern family living in mind, it offers an excellent range of fitted units, integrated cooking appliances, generous worktop space, and room for both a washing machine and dishwasher. Flooded with natural light from the Velux roof window, side and rear windows, and French doors opening directly onto the garden, it’s a wonderful space for everyday life and entertaining alike.

First Floor

The first floor provides exceptional flexibility. The current owners have chosen to use the spacious rear reception room as an additional bedroom, but it could just as easily be enjoyed as a beautiful first-floor lounge, cinema room or family living space. Two large rear windows create a bright and airy atmosphere throughout.

Also on this floor is a generous double bedroom overlooking the front of the property, along with the stylish family bathroom, complete with a bath and mains-fed shower, vanity basin, heated towel rail and contemporary tiled flooring.

Second Floor

The top floor is dedicated to the sleeping accommodation, creating a peaceful retreat away from the main living areas.

The principal bedroom is a spacious and light-filled room featuring built-in wardrobes, dual front-facing windows and the added luxury of a private en-suite shower room.
Two further bedrooms overlook the rear garden, offering ideal accommodation for children, guests or those needing a home office. An airing cupboard on the landing provides valuable additional storage.

Outside

The fully enclosed rear garden has been thoughtfully designed for low-maintenance enjoyment, with an artificial lawn, mature planting, patio seating area and side access. Outside power sockets and a tap add further practicality, making it equally suited to entertaining, gardening or simply relaxing outdoors.

To the front, the property also benefits from a garage with an up-and-over door, providing secure parking or useful storage

About Hucknall

Hucknall is a town that lies in the Ashfield district, Nottinghamshire, which has a great family feel and is popular with homeowners who work in the centre of Nottingham.

Hucknall’s origins go back to at least Anglo-Saxon times when the town’s parish church was originally built (Lord Byron is buried there). When coal was discovered in the 19th Century, the town flourished. Today, Hucknall is a popular choice with people working or studying in Nottingham, which is only 15 minutes by train. Hucknall itself has a variety of shops, pubs, cafés and restaurants, and there is a traditional market every Friday. The town is also well served by primary and secondary schools, making it desirable by families.

There is a railway station offering trains into Nottingham in under 20 minutes. For drivers, they can easily access the M1. It is a great location for reaching the Peak District and Sherwood Forest in your spare time.

There’s plenty to keep all the family interested around Hucknall. Younger children will love the range of soft play centres and trampoline parks. For something more sedate, head to the beautiful historic surroundings of Newstead Abbey, Nottingham Castle or Wollaton Hall, plus with Nottingham only minutes up the road, a huge range of eating, sporting, shopping and entertainment options are waiting for you.
