Find Your Perfect Family Home

From the moment you arrive, the home offers a sense of privacy and space. A shingled front area provides off-road parking potential, and a gate opens into the enclosed front garden, with a path leading to the front door. This thoughtful layout ensures children and pets can enjoy the outdoor space safely, right from the doorstep.

Inside, the accommodation has been designed with family living in mind. The entrance hall offers a welcoming first impression and connects neatly to all principal rooms. A convenient cloakroom is located just off the hallway—perfect for guests or busy school mornings. The sitting room is a warm and inviting space creating a lovely atmosphere for family evenings or weekend relaxation.

The spacious kitchen/diner is very much the heart of the home. Fitted with a range of wall and base units, it offers excellent storage and workspace, as well as room for a range-style cooker and a full-sized fridge/freezer. There’s also an integrated dishwasher for added convenience. Natural light fills the space through dual-aspect windows, while a door leads directly out to the garden—ideal for keeping an eye on children playing outside or bringing food straight out to the patio for summer meals.

A separate utility room, just off the kitchen, provides a practical space for laundry and additional appliances, helping to keep the main living areas clutter-free and family-ready.

There are three bedrooms in total. The principal bedroom, overlooking the rear garden, includes built-in wardrobes and comfortably fits a double bed. The second bedroom is another good-sized double, while the third, smaller room would make an ideal child’s bedroom, nursery, or even a home office for working parents. A well-appointed family bathroom includes a bath with shower over, WC, and wash basin—perfect for bath time routines or quick showers before school.

What truly sets this home apart is the garden. Enclosed and mostly laid to lawn, it offers a fantastic, secure outdoor space for children to play, with plenty of room for a trampoline, paddling pool, or garden toys. A patio area provides a lovely spot for outdoor dining or simply relaxing with a coffee while enjoying the peace and quiet. There is also a shed for storing bikes, garden tools, or seasonal furniture.

With the benefit of double glazing and oil-fired central heating, the home is warm and efficient throughout the year.

Whether you're upsizing, relocating, or simply looking for a home where your family can flourish both indoors and out, this charming bungalow offers the perfect balance of practicality, comfort, and lifestyle potential. Early viewing is highly recommended to appreciate the space, setting, and quality on offer.

About Dereham

Dereham, in the heart of Norfolk, is controlled by Breckland District Council and is one of the larger towns in the centre of the county with a population of more than 17,800.

It has good access to the A47 to Kings Lynn and Norwich, and its location makes it easy to reach the Midlands. Tourists use the town to access the Norfolk Broads, coastal resorts and other attractions. Historically, it was a farming town, although there is now a large diverse range of businesses.

A ‘must-visit’ in Dereham is the Mid Norfolk Railway, run by railway enthusiasts. The line starts in the town and travels to Wymondham Abbey. Dereham also has a restored windmill, built in 1836, which has changing exhibitions and is open to visitors.
