If you are a landlord looking to let your property, or you’re keen to rent a property in the South Devon seaside town of Torquay, haart Letting Agents are here to help.
haart Lettings Torquay is part of the UK’s largest independent estate agents. Every year we help thousands of people to achieve their aims, whether they’re letting out a property or keen to rent a property.
Torquay’s seafront and marina are always busy with tourists and locals enjoying the beaches, bars, restaurants and attractions. This ever-popular town has a good range of property, from bungalows to large family homes, apartments to new builds, and many have lovely sea views.
While you can enjoy all the English Riviera lifestyle has to offer, you can be in London by train in three hours, in Bristol in under two. Many people live in Torquay and commute to Exeter (35 minutes) or to nearby Newton Abbot (10 minutes). Exeter International Airport is only 30 miles away.
There’s a wide choice of quality primary and secondary schools here, including Torquay Boys’ and Girls’ Grammar Schools, which are both Ofsted-rated ‘outstanding’. So, whether you’re a landlord looking to let all-year-round or just for the summer, or you’re keen to rent a modern apartment with sea views or a family home in Torquay, the haart Lettings team is here to help.
We use rightmove.co.uk and onthemarket.com plus our own haart website to market properties. We also advertise in local newspapers and across social media.
The haart Lettings Torquay office is open Monday to Saturday at 130 Union Street. Pop in and see us, or give us a call.
Torquay has something for every age and interest, including an aquarium and coastal zoo, spas, theatres, prehistoric caves… You can even get up close to dinosaurs or head out sailing or fishing. If you live here, you’ll always have something to do.

Government announces five-week cap on rental deposits- but haart goes one better. The government has recently confirmed that it will cut the maximum deposit for rentals of less than £50,000 to five weeks, down from six weeks. According to the National Landlords Association and the Residential Landlords Association, the reduction could force landlords out of the market. However, haart partnered with flatfair earlier this year to launch a solution which protects both tenants and landlords in equal measure.
