Property Rental and Lettings

Every year we help thousands of people to achieve their aims, whether they’re letting out a property or keen to rent a property.

Plymouth is a seafaring town through-and-through, it is where the Mayflower set sail for the New World, and today, the Devonport naval base in the city is the largest of its kind in Western Europe. Millions are being spent on the city’s waterfront area; there’s a vibrant arts scene, stunning scenery from Plymouth Hoe and a lively harbour at the Barbican. Plymouth has every type of property, from waterfront apartments to Georgian townhouses and Victorian terraces, and the Stoke Damerel conservation area has good schools and green spaces. Royal William Yard has upmarket restaurants and artisan food stores, and the Theatre Royal and Pavilions regularly showcase top dance performances, plays, musicals and comedy shows.

Whether you are a landlord looking to let in Plymouth, or you’re keen to rent in this up-and-coming seaside city, the haart lettings team has all you need.

We know Plymouth

Sitting on the south-west coast, Plymouth is home to a growing population over 250,000. Well served with schools and home to Plymouth University, it is ideal for families.

With direct access to the M5 and regular mainline train services, residents can be in London in 3 hours. Plymouth city centre has easy access to three train stations, all of which have routes to airports, such as Exeter and Cornwall. Ferries are regularly available from several ports, travelling to Cornwall and even to France.

The Plymouth area caters for all its residents and has much to offer, including a number of harbours with restaurants, bars and cafés, ample parks and shopping outlets. There are a wealth of schools in Plymouth that have been highly rated by Ofsted giving families plenty of options for where to send their children. In 2017, 12 schools in the city were rated as “Outstanding”, including nine primary schools and two secondary schools.

Plymouth is renowned for its ports, which have played host to military vessels, as well as fishing and commercial trade, and much of this history is still evident within the city. To this day, both locals and tourists visit the Royal Citadel, which was a hub of military planning for Sir Francis Drake.
