We know Dunstable
Dunstable has a good range of shops, as well as two theatres, a leisure centre and a number of good schools.
Dunstable Downs, on the edge of the town, is popular with dog walkers, runners, kite flyers, paragliders and hang gliders thanks to the London Gliding Club. While Whipsnade Zoo is only a couple of miles away, making a perfect day out for the family.
The Priory Church of St Peter is a Grade I listed building and a still-active parish church; it is the surviving part of an old Augustinian priory founded in 1131. It was here that Henry VIII’s marriage to his first wife, Catherine of Aragon, was announced null and void in 1533, paving the way for Henry to marry his second wife, Anne Boleyn.
