We know Borehamwood
Borehamwood is a popular town, just 21 minutes on the train from Central London. Most famous for the Elstree TV and film studios, the town is now primarily a residential suburb of London. Only 12 miles from Charing Cross, and with superb rail, road and bus links, Borehamwood is popular with the younger generation keen to get a foothold on the housing ladder, as well as with the older generation and families keen to escape the capital.
We market a wide range of different properties, from detached and semi-detached houses to terraced homes and apartments in Elstree and Borehamwood. There’s a superb range of primary and secondary schools in the area, including state and private schools. A number are outstanding, including Yavneh College, a secondary school for Jewish pupils.
South Hertfordshire’s Borehamwood is located just 12 miles from Charing Cross station making it an ideal location for London commuters and falls within Zone 6 of the London tube system.
Journey times into the city centre from the Elstree and Borehamwood station take just 25 minutes.
The area is well served by both state and private schools and is best known for its Elstree TV and film studios. The latest census puts the population at over 31,000.
