We love Benfleet

Living in Benfleet
The wonderful small town of Benfleet is located 30 miles east of London and just 10 miles west of Southend-on-Sea. Benfleet boasts a rich and vibrant history, which got its name in the 5th century when the area was mostly marshland and was subsequently coined ‘Beamfleote’, meaning ‘tree stream’; the current spelling was adopted when the railway station was built. Benfleet offers terrific access to London, making it an area well sought after by commuters.
