Garage conversion & Annexe potential

Tucked away in the highly desirable Nelson Court in Watton, this impressive three-bedroom detached bungalow enjoys a standout position on a substantial, secure and highly private corner plot, offering an exceptional sense of space, seclusion, and versatility — all with the added advantage of no onward chain.

From the moment you arrive, the property immediately impresses with its generous plot size and feeling of privacy, enhanced by its corner position which creates natural separation from neighbouring homes. The accommodation is thoughtfully arranged for modern living, beginning with a welcoming entrance hall leading into a bright and airy open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area — an ideal space for both everyday living and entertaining. A conservatory further extends the living accommodation, drawing in natural light and providing relaxing views across the beautiful garden all year round.

There are three well-proportioned bedrooms served by a contemporary family wet room, while the converted garage offers exceptional flexibility — currently providing a valuable additional space that could easily function as a fourth bedroom, home office, studio, or hobby room, making it perfectly suited to today’s flexible work and lifestyle needs.

Outside, the property truly comes into its own. The large, wraparound corner plot is both private and secure, offering a rare combination of seclusion and space that is hard to find. Mature planting and seasonal colour create a peaceful, garden sanctuary during spring and summer, while the overall layout ensures excellent privacy with minimal overlooking — a real highlight of this home. A powered summer house adds yet another highly versatile space, ideal as a garden office, creative studio, or leisure room, further enhancing the property’s adaptability.

The driveway provides ample off-road parking for multiple vehicles with ease, complementing the practicality of the home.

This is a rare opportunity to acquire a bungalow that combines extensive outdoor space, a secure and private corner position, and superbly flexible internal and external accommodation, all within a peaceful and sought-after Watton setting. With no onward chain, it represents a smooth and straightforward purchase.

Early viewing is strongly recommended to fully appreciate the space, privacy, and lifestyle potential on offer at Nelson Court.

About Dereham

Dereham, in the heart of Norfolk, is controlled by Breckland District Council and is one of the larger towns in the centre of the county with a population of more than 17,800.

It has good access to the A47 to Kings Lynn and Norwich, and its location makes it easy to reach the Midlands. Tourists use the town to access the Norfolk Broads, coastal resorts and other attractions. Historically, it was a farming town, although there is now a large diverse range of businesses.

A ‘must-visit’ in Dereham is the Mid Norfolk Railway, run by railway enthusiasts. The line starts in the town and travels to Wymondham Abbey. Dereham also has a restored windmill, built in 1836, which has changing exhibitions and is open to visitors.
