Harlow constantly has events going on, and you don’t want to miss them this January! Take a look at a few of our favourite events that are happening this 2017!
New Year’s Day Free 5km Timed Run
It’s you against the clock! Be at School Lane Car Park at 10am on 01/01/2017 to join in with this free 5 kilometer free run to spring into the New Year! All you need to do is register before you run and don’t forget to bring a printed copy of your barcode, otherwise you won’t get a time! For more information, tips and how to register click here
New Cineworld in The Harvey Centre
The new cinema features six state-of-the-art screens showing the latest releases as well as a Baskin Robbins Ice Counter. Cineworld also offer “Unlimited Card Holder” deals as well as the opportunity to hire out the cinema for various different events. There is both disabled access and parking, autism friendly screening, guide dogs are allowed, audio description as well as movies for juniors and 3D. For more information click here
Harlow Playhouse – BBC music introducing
Harlow Playhouse and BBC Music Introducing in Essex join forces to present a very special live gig. Visit the Playhouse on 3rd January 2017 at 8pm and you’ll find BBC Introducing at major events like Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds, T in the Park and Radio 1’s Big Weekend. Town Park – A Lifetime of Plants
A talk and walk in Harlow Town Park presented by Colin Lincoln on 14th January between 10am and 11:30am. Booking opens two weeks before the event, all you need to do is call on 01279 446834 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. The walk starts at The Learning Centre at Pets Corner at Town Park. The Ware Priory Wedding Fair
If you are looking for a venue for your wedding to take place or any show stopping wedding must-haves then this is your place. This is taking place in Ware Priory in Ware on Sunday 22nd January between 11am-3pm. Entry is free and any age is welcome, visit here for more details.
