Looking to rent or let property in Colchester?
The team at haart letting agents is here to help

haart Lettings Colchester is part of the UK’s largest independent estate and lettings agents. Every year we help thousands of people to achieve their aims, whether they’re letting out a property, or keen to rent one.

Colchester is the oldest recorded town in Britain, and was once the capital of Roman Britain. Today, thanks to its superb transport links into London, choice of great schools (as well as the University of Essex), range of shops, and access to coast and countryside, the town is booming again.

New-build developments are appearing all over the area, including at Point Chase in Marks Tey, close to the train station, and at Copford and Horkesley. We also let period properties, from townhouses to cottages and barn conversions.

Tenants tend to be professional couples or singles who are sharing. There’s also a big student population in the town, thanks to the university.

So whether you’re an investor looking to let your property, or you’re keen to rent a home in Colchester, the haart Lettings team is here to help.

We know Colchester

Historic Colchester is proud of its ancient Roman history and is now home to a population of over 177,000 and the British Army’s 16 Air Assault Brigade.

It has a high employment rate, a thriving local economy, a great shopping scene and vibrant nightlife and is just 42 minutes by train from London.

Around 79 per cent of people say they feel satisfied with the local area as a place to live, according to a Colchester Borough Council survey.

Colchester has some fantastic transport links, which add to its appeal. The A12 connects the town to London, and direct trains run from Colchester to London Liverpool Street. The town is only a short drive to the beaches and sailing at Mersea Island, and an hour’s drive from the beautiful Suffolk towns of Aldeburgh and Southwold.
