If you are a landlord looking to let your property, or you’re keen to rent a property in the exciting and world famous university city of Cambridge, haart Letting Agents are here to help.
haart Lettings Cambridge is part of the UK’s largest independent estate and lettings agents. Every year we help thousands of people to achieve their aims, whether they’re letting out a property, or keen to rent one.
Cambridge is a hotspot for property. With its world-leading university, state-of-the-art biomedical campus and renowned health and research facilities, the city attracts talented students and professionals from all over the world.
It’s under an hour by train into King’s Cross, so the city is also an attractive proposition for London commuters keen on a slower pace of life and access to the superb state and private schools.
Cambridge is therefore growing fast: the city council aims to build 14,000 new homes before 2030. South of the city, thousands of homes have been built at Great Kneighton and Trumpington Meadows, along with new schools, a country park and a central square with library, café, community centre and GP surgery. North of the city, a whole new town, called Eddington, is being developed.
So whether you’re an investor looking to let your property, or you’re keen to rent a home in Cambridge, the haart Lettings team is here to help.

We know Cambridge
Cambridge has some 80 miles of designated cycle lanes and routes, and a quarter of all journeys to work in the city are now made on two wheels. A brand new train station is being built to the south of Cambridge, and the major road links are the M11 to London, and the A14, linking Cambridge to the A1(M).
Cambridge, best known for its world-leading university, has a population of over 124,000 including more than 24,000 students.
It is less than an hour’s train ride to London’s Kings Cross, has good links to the M11 via the A14 and a Park and Ride operating to and from the city centre from Trumpington.
It has a vibrant entertainment scene, a good shopping district in the city centre and is well served by schools including an international school.

Government announces five-week cap on rental deposits- but haart goes one better. The government has recently confirmed that it will cut the maximum deposit for rentals of less than £50,000 to five weeks, down from six weeks. According to the National Landlords Association and the Residential Landlords Association, the reduction could force landlords out of the market. However, haart partnered with flatfair earlier this year to launch a solution which protects both tenants and landlords in equal measure.
