Rushden

Originally known for its shoe industry Rushden is one of the larger towns in the county of Northamptonshire, lying between Bedford and Kettering. Only a handful of the boot and shoe factories remain today and you are more likely to make home in one of the redundant factories than buy shoes. A diverse young community, intermingled with historic landmarks and industry, property for sale in Rushden ranges from Victorian Terraces to plenty of modern property. Rushden has a good stable industrious backbone, with a strong sense of community, house sales are plentiful with two housing estates in the process of being built on both sides of the town. The town has three large parks and many ‘pocket parks’ a council initiative to help improve the urban green spaces and there are plenty of clubs and organisations to join.
