Southfields in the 19th century was still fields between Putney and Wimbledon. There were a few paths between the two areas and these have become the main roads of the area today. The residents of Southfields seem to say the same thing about the area that it has a real neighbourhood feel. When looking at property for sale in Southfields you’ll become familiar with the ‘the Grid’ an area of mostly Victorian built terrace houses and only a 10 minute walk from the tube and train station. It is the easy access into Surrey and the City that make house sales so desirable in this area, plus its parks and primary schools. It takes only a couple of minutes on the train to Wimbledon and fifteen minutes to Waterloo and the South Bank. Southfields is a good choice for the family home, the people are friendly, the schools are good and the town is well maintained with some nice bars and restaurants.
The Southfields office is located on Wimbledon Park Road which is in the Heart of the Village. The Southfields Tube Station (District Line) is across the road from the office and is within easy reach of the local parade of shops and amenities. The branch covers the prime residential areas such as the "Grid", "Pulborough Triangle" and the "Gardens" area. The annual Wimbledon Tennis Championships is the most memorable occasion for everyone and we are located about 10min. from the Stadium.
