Mosaic Apartments, High Street
Slough, Berkshire, SL1 1EP

Like other Berkshire towns, particularly Maidenhead, Slough was an important stage on the routes between London and Bath and Bristol. It was in fact the second stopover out of the capital.

By the 1920's, Slough was dubbed by one national newspaper as "the hardest working town in Britain", with the country's first modern industrial estate that had over 8000 workers and was even unaffected by the depression in the 1930's.Today there are many technology companies based here, like its neighbours of Wokingham, Reading and Bracknell, but the Mars Factory is in its 70th decade of producing and distributing chocolate from Slough and it is the town's local workforce that account for its high levels of rented properties, so making Mosaic ideal for investors.
Slough Location
Mosaic is situated just minutes from Slough's mainline station and High Street, as well as the impressive Queensmere and Observatory shopping centres.

Brand-name shops and department stores sit alongside independent boutiques and brasseries. Bars and pubs jostle for position alongside nightclubs in this energetic environment. There are cinemas, theatres, restaurants serving cuisine from across the world and so much more than just 'The Office'.

For those who like an active lifestyle, the Montem Leisure Centre provides swimming, squash and many more activities. The Slough Jets hockey team can be found carving up the ice at the town's Ice Arena, where you can also hire skating time, whilst there is also a tennis centre nearby for budding Henman's to practice.

Alternatively, Holmes Place and LA Fitness both have private leisure clubs with swimming pools and state-of-the-art gym equipment. The renowned Burnham Beeches Golf Centre is also close to Slough and will test even Tiger with its par 70 challenge.

The surrounding towns all offer just as many distractions and cultural delights, including the Royal castle at Windsor and Monday Night Racing if you fancy the odds. Maidenhead is excellent for shopping as is Berkshire's county town Reading, which also has its own leading Championship Football Club.

Surrounding villages provide a break from the hustle and bustle or urban life, with walks along the Thames, views over the Thames Valley and an opportunity to relax in an open or woodland environment. Slough also has an abundance of parkland with Upton Court Park and Herschel Park being the highlights.

For professionals who need access to the capital, Slough provides direct services to London Paddington in as little as 20 minutes. Meanwhile for those who drive, the M4 motorway is extremely close to Mosaic, which leads to the M25 and the M40. From there, Heathrow airport is also within easy reach for those frequent, or not so frequent flyers.
