A detached timber-framed bungalow opposite Seasalter Beach, offering flexible accommodation, off-road parking and scope for improvement or enlargement, subject to any necessary consents

lovely seaside detached home

Positioned on Faversham Road in Seasalter, with the beach directly opposite and open aspects to the rear, this detached timber-framed bungalow presents an increasingly rare opportunity to acquire a property in one of the area's most desirable coastal locations.

The accommodation currently provides comfortable single-storey living with a flexible arrangement of rooms, including two reception areas, kitchen facilities, shower room accommodation, enclosed gardens and off-road parking. Whilst well suited to immediate occupation, the property's wider appeal is likely to lie in the opportunity it presents for enhancement.
Buyers looking to modernise, extend or reconfigure a home to suit their own requirements may recognise the potential on offer, subject to any necessary consents. Given the property's position opposite the coastline and amongst a variety of neighbouring homes, purchasers with vision may see scope to further maximise the site's potential over time.
The location is undoubtedly a key feature. Seasalter Beach is situated directly opposite, providing immediate access to the coastline, whilst the rear enjoys a more open outlook, creating an attractive contrast between coastal and semi-rural surroundings.
Whitstable Harbour, independent shops, restaurants and other amenities are all within easy reach.

Whether seeking a coastal home, a project with future potential or a long-term investment in a highly regarded position, this property offers an exciting opportunity for a purchaser looking to create something special in a sought-after setting.

About Herne Bay

Whitstable and Herne Bay neighbour the historic villages of Reculver and Herne and are part of the City of Canterbury local government district. Herne Bay’s seafront is home to the world’s first freestanding purpose-built clock tower, built-in 1837; from the late Victorian period until 1978, the town had the second-longest pier in the united kingdom.

The Herne Bay Festival occurs annually in August, lasting for 10 days and consisting of free music, performances and creative commissions which provides family fun, competitions, walks and exhibitions for locals and tourists.

Herne Bay also is home to the Herne Bay Little Theatre, a playmakers drama society with a 72-seat theatre in Bullers Avenue.  In 2007 the theatre won a large grant from the Big Lottery Fund to renovate and extend theIr building and provide disabled access.

There are a number of universities such as the University of Kent nearby, as well as other good schools in the area.

Whether you’re looking to live near the sea, near good amenities or a preferential school, we can help you find your ideal property in Whitstable and Herne Bay.
